Dream Report- 'Barrier?'

This is a recent, Jan-2012 ‘dream report’. This dream came as a realization offering new possibilities to view ‘life’. I have named it ‘Barrier?’. See it and let me know your take on ‘Barrier..?’

'Barrier?'

I see a wall ahead of me. A huge wall and nothing but that wall. I sense it is blocking my way and start looking for a door, window or atleast a hole somewhere.. I search and search in the wall that seems to be stretching infinitely. I couldn’t find its beginning or ending.. As I go about scouring I sense the desire for freedom, wish to reach out for some dream mounting in me. I feel hopeless after my futile efforts. Disappointed, I turn my back to the wall. I turn and go stunned with what I witness. I am seeing a place with green coated grassy ground and multicoulored sky. I feel pleasure, joy and peace watching those hues. As I walk towards the view leaving the wall, I hear a voice rising somewhere in me saying- ‘Walls are not always bad. Make sure whether they are guarding you from stepping out of your dream or stopping you from entering the dream.”

With that, dream ends..

Hii all,

It had been quite a while I stopped updating thisblog. But, it is hard to nudge aside the passion kindling inside. So, here I am, back with bundles of ideas pondering on giving the blog an all new outlook. I had been posting my dream write ups so far. Journey with my inner guide – 'DREAM' has influenced many facets of my conscious and unconscious life all these years. Hence,I presumed along with dream reports it would be fine to publish the deeper contemplations, aswell. Hoping to hear on this new endeavour..

Hii all,

After months of warnings and condemnations regarding plagiarized content, Mr.Panky has finally removed his blog from the blogsphere itself!! Many thanks to all who joined hands in condemning the act of plagiarism.. I hope not to come across any such adversities in future.But anyway let me once again press 'the descriptions published in this blog are copyrighted'.

So it's time to resume the dream-blog work I feel.

My dream-description Plagiarised!

I recently performed a search where it was possible to find the copied web pages of our site. Surprisingly I traced one! I found the exact copy of my post ‘Great Aspirations!!’ in Mr.Panky’s blog.

As you already know, here I post my dream-descriptions not any imaginary works. I have my claim over descriptions and even I made it clear that I am the owner of this dreams under ‘about me’ though it seemed so weird while writing that. Now, even after all this, it happened to yell, ‘ I am the owner of this dream, This is mine!’ Pals…, Who else could be other than I as these are all processed and presented by me and for me!

Considering dreaming as much sub-conscious and passive activity, sometime I found it difficult to pendown under my name and declare it as mine. ‘How strange the mechanism could be behind such dreams!’. was the thought! But here some unknown people are finding it so easy to walk-in my space and post mine 'in and as' theirs without bringing it to my knowledge or atleast mentioning a link back to my site.

Even after bringing this to attention of blog owner,Mr. Pranky he stays extremely innoscent, he didn’t delete my post from his blog or least has no manner to say a ‘sorry’ in return! I have utmost disdain for bunches who have instilled a fraudulent judge with in them and perform all mischiefs to convince the set of ‘blind values they have incorporated.

I must thank my co-blogger Mr.Sunaath for taking some quick actions on this issue. He has dropped comments against this stand of Mr.Panky, cited this affair of ‘Plagiarism’ in his blog post and is working on to fight against cyber-plagiarism.

'Dream time'- puzzles, explorations and experiences

Hii all,

Well, Are you new to my 'dream space?' You are welcome and please consider scrolling down to see my 'dream stuffs' and I am sure you will find the link to this post then! Today, I am gonna share my ‘observation’ on own 'sleeping self’, variations I underwent during my dreams that resembles ‘story’ rather a dream..

Some times I sense thumping in the heart and can observe my eye movements and the' dream self' remains very conscious while spectating the occurings, yet I can’t actively involve and manupalate the happenings(never, in any dream). Some other times, my dream ‘self’ stays more comfortable, no focus set on ‘sleeping self’ and every movement proceeds very casual and fine, normally watching the ongoings or participating in a ‘dream venture’. But I didn’t make out much difference in both the conditions with regard to kind of dreams I had.
‘Also to which ‘type’ such dreams fall, if categorized?’ Well, it’s another puzzling issue to me as enigmatic as the ‘source’ or cause of unusual dreams. I regarded it folly probing, when all my search results remained unjustified and stopped my exploration long back.

Now, all I do is ‘learning’ from my own dream stuffs, decoding them to my best and sharing with people whom I consider ‘amazing’ in providing me an indeapth detail ‘ hidden’ deep inside, hidden from my analysis of dreams too. However, we can only see things that we are capable off , limited to our views and visions. How fine to find people who help unleash the potential in our own self, either by dragging out the concealed ‘theme’ or by incorporating a ‘meaning’ born from their thoughts and letting us see as ‘ours’, Is not it?
That is the strenghth of a truly experienced approach. Where we ‘feel’, that is much far than ‘listening’
Thanks to personal mails that opened up so many discussions and helped me to know how one can ‘visualize’ my dream descriptions. Really fine!

Well, I love to know how you see such an issue. I appreciate any comment or feedback that either re-triggers my old exploration or provides various new dimensions...,pals..sss :) !!

Dream thoughts and ‘Existence’

Usually in monologues, on explaining essentials of the plot, we get to know the background or the additional informations of the play or write up. Same happened here, in my dreams. Once in the dream, I saw a girl carrying a pot (see ‘the potfull of water’). I had a thought that,’she has to walk miles together to fetch water from the river’ ! and in another dream, while I stood on the terrace watching the sky It flashed that the silver clouds and beauty of canopy in the evening hours appeared stunned for a moment and then I observed, ‘Oh! Mr.Dark is rushing to the duty a bit early today!’. This thing repeated in most of my dreams. Ideas as mere an imagination creeps inside the dream ongoings and astounds me!

Here in this dream, named ‘existence’, for no reasons I felt the flower in the dream as ‘she’ and I address it as ‘she’! check out what happened with ‘she’!

Existence

She was one among the various ‘beautiful’ branded flowers in that garden and again the ‘one’ who never regarded herself alike others. All she believed was that on blossoming, she brought ‘light’ and enlightened all rooted, stemmed fellows.!
Looking disregardingly towards her own plant, she said, “Hey, you! You must be very obedient to me. Today if your presence matters, it is nothing but because of me! It is my existence which made your life meaningfull… understand?”
It was not the first insult. Allmost every day plant has to tolerate her illtreatment. Even it was irritated of her boastings, kept quite reminding that ‘The right time is yet to arrive..'
Days went on.. There she was who lost her rhythm, firmness,became more feeble day by day and finally fell down on the ground separating from her stem! Failing to make a move and tortured from strong blows of wind she screamed, “ Oh.. my fate.. Why is this? Why with me? let this thing never happen to anyone!”
This time, plant could not stay dumb. It pitied her and said, “ Oh beauty, look here. See how some other is trying to take your place. I didn’t intend to mock you, but it is the law of nature! End is obvious. But arrogant, ignorant souls are ought to face such miseries, the pain of lossing the 'unaccomplished possession'. On the other day when you climbed the right and remarked on my living, I understood that the words were born of pride and foolishness . But today it could be possible! We can make it true.. You can strenghthen me and can really be responsible for my existence..” stretching its leafy hands, it drew her towards foot and consoled.

A Specious Logic

I was wandering in an unfamiliar, devastated land. It appeared too peculiar. Some chairs, benches, tables were set in an open area. While wondering, I heard foot steps from my right, I turned and stood stunned! A bunch of headless men, headed by a young lady ( with head!!!) were marching. All were fashionably dressed. She kept yelling instructions in commanding voice. They moved just before me. She once stared and proceeded .. All sat on chairs.
I felt a bit too odd. She kept stating on some unknown issues in her authoritative tone. Whenever she pauses, stops, the others applaud.. It just went on. Whatever would be her word, they clap inturn. Mean while, she started gazing at me and remarked, “Dear all, Profound thoughts are meant to obey and one who dares to question them mustn’t be spared unpunished”. It made me astonished and even very agitated! She continued, “Noble concept wins supporters. One who can muse, leads. One who can’t follows. Aimless wanderers, who have no group to lead, no people to step along are real niusance to the social system! Pals, right here I can see a being with head!! It’s rambling over here and there with no task to perform. It just ponders unnecessarily. Neither could it impress people with immense expression, nor it could simply follow precious, socially well appreciated values. Well, for curiosity you can surely have a look at it, if you wish.” She stopped. Again, men applauded loudely.

Utterly insulted by her offensive remark and her manner in addressing me as ‘it’, I wanted to oppose, protest against her spurious logics. But couldn’t utter a word. I struck totally dumb and at the same time, involuntarily I was stepping back…back ... And finally, woke up!

I was amidst a green land, in a pleasant climate, looking around the very richness of nature. But some how, was not in a good mood. Irrelevant thoughts were bothering my mind and I could not make out what exactly was I thinking. Suddenly, I saw an object moving a bit away.

An umbrella captured my attention with its attractive outlook. It possessed the colours of rainbow and was progressing in the direction of wind. With out my knowledge, I began running behind it as if my sole aim was to catch that umbrella. My vision was so much fixed that I did not even worried where was I going.
In the mean time, I came to know that Umbrella was not proceeding rapidly with wind, but was in a constant speed!

All of a sudden it picked up pace and got off from me.. away…, away and disappeared from my vision. There I stood, tired and disappointed . A glance around shocked and astonished me! That was a barren land. The green, the beauty everything was gone. I knelt on ground scared and lost! At the place where the umbrella moved off from my sight, I heard a voice , “ You always ran for things you never actually needed at that point of life.. An umbrella where there was no rain and sunshine! You can’t see the worthyness you were provided with . Now here you are, empty handed, in a place which offers nothing but dry thoughts, dry as its grass..”
I suddenly opened my eyes…

It had been 5 years to this dream. That was the first time I heard conversations as such in dream that became lenghthier in my succeeding dreams.

Great Aspirations!!!

It was night with dim light. I heard some sound and guessed, ‘might be some one pounding stone.’ Unwondering my presence in an unfamiliar land, I went in search of the source. Finally, I found a lady carving in stone. I got closer and noticed that it was a 'face'. Meanwhile, she greeted and offered me to sit on a nearby rock …

I felt strange, but nodded to her wish on narrating stories. She began, “A man assumed himself as highly ambitious. Even he did nothing much noticeable yet, had utmost belief that something great would be performed in his life time. He spent time looking for great things, he could work upon… One day he got a ‘wheel’. That was life! It suggested him to handle it as he wishes.He didn’t ponder much beyond, but started running behind, moving it with hands. Even not minding the route, road, he just went up as it proceeded.

Now, wheel caught up all the mud and dirt and there stood a man instead. Pausing his speed, he uttered, ‘You thought of doing great things, but never kept in mind that things which are precious are considered great, But great things can’t be done with a sense of making things great. You failed, when, was provided with ‘Life’ itself to handle. Now it’s all over and time is up’. He disappeared.”

I was listening with great wonder and she continued… “ Another, highly aspired as the first, was bestowed with an empty book and a pen as ‘life’. He could write one page per a day, even if he wouldn’t the page turns the next day. As he was a ‘great soul’, he can’t write anything non sense! So he went exploring profound aspects. The days went on, but he didn't write a letter! When only the last page was left, something clicked, while he was about to note, the book vanished and a man appeared in place. He stated, “Great things are performed after great mistakes. until you understand the greatness or importance of mistakes, you can’t ever make any thing greater out of your knowledge!"

with no pause she started another story… “ It’s life of a greedy man. He brought home and piled every thing considered 'precious'. He was busy buying things than looking those dumped in house. One day when he returned, a man stopped him at the door and yelled, ‘No matter what you brought today, there is no place to keep a pin inside! You focused only on 'desires' but not on the capacity of your home. All the precious stacked inside are now for no use! Now, how can I allow you to step in? All your accomplishments made you stand out of your own home!’” After that, she challenged me to narrate one…I went dumb….

The Pot Full Of Water...

That girl has to traverse miles together, by foot, to fetch water from the river. But unfortunately, every day she returned with half filled pot. She was really worried, ‘how the water spilled out from filled pot?’

One day she offered flowers to the river and yelled “O almighty.. Be kind upon me. Please bless me with pot full of water…”
She made it a routine.
But that day, she brought a slight change in her practice. Deciding something to herself, she filled the pitcher and walked home with conscious behaviour. To her surprise, not even a drop of water was off from the pot! Elated, she ran towards river and expressed her gratitude. A response struck her ears. “Oh my dear, recall the happenings.. There was nothing in your mind , except the pot and the water. Not even me…”
‘uh ! god replied me..’ glancing ‘that’ from disembodied voice, delighted girl moved to report the occurrence.

To prove her words, the next day she reached river with crowd of people. Presenting flowers to the river, she uttered, “ Oh almighty, at last you blessed me. I am very thankful to you..” No response!.. She cried again and again. But still there was an intense silence!! The crowd dispersed insulting and mocking the lady. Ashamed, she plodded back home with her pot. Her reflection in the pot’s water said “O my dear, silly girl, Couldn’t you recognize yourself? The thing that made you succeed was only your concentration. With out understanding yourself you moved to explain world about the existence. First, try to identify and notice the ‘self’ inside you not the external existence”. She came home with filled pot. Filled with water she has brought.

My 'Dreams'!

Dreams! Irrelevant, confusing, scary, …….. ! yes, I do have such! But there are also some symbolic, abstract kind of stuffs which came my way , with a puzzling approach, a few years ago. At first, they were consoling , guiding sort of things and were like question- answer type. But later, there formed a beginning and ending to these and also the subject become more universal than persona! At its very first arrival, I found myself perplexed of my peculiar experience. But later, for now ‘dreams’ have become very part of my life, an usual thing and ofcourse, an important one to mention !
I usually write it in my mother tongue (kannada), but for my urge to share it, I'm writing it in English, as well. I had dreams, usually which were very lengthy. Here I am posting only smaller ones, easily readable online...

The Quest

In my dream, I was walking on an even, plain road, intending in search of truth.. There were buildings on either side. While passing by a building, I Percieved something and entered it. Rows of chairs were placed inside. I sat before a wall which seemed quite special. Suddenly, a beautiful young- lady got in and sat, leaving a chair empty in between us, as though maintaining a ‘distance’. Before I felt that she appeared ‘extremely self absorbed’ and intentionally neglected me, a scene blossemed on the wall and proceeded like a movie.

It was a greeny place, comprised of flowery plants, fruitful trees, lovely birds and people enjoying all pleasure and beuty. There stood a tree full of thorns which was just ‘useless’ in public views. Green slept dead over that tree. Near by situated a wide mango tree , stretching its branches over all directions. Its beneath, were people ,chanting, chating, having mangoes and lauding the ‘worthiness’ of the tree. It was engulfed with contemptation and fulfillment. The thorny tree, fed up with such comparisons and used to curse itself.

Time elapsed and once, severe draught stretched all over . Mango tree became leaves less ,fruit less.. There was no shadow, no birds and not even people to applaud. It was suffering with intense, endless pain. The leaves less branches were in craze of some thing. Thorny tree felt utter sympathy at the state of mango tree and remarked , “Dear pal, condolences for your agony. But where the admiring and lauding men went and where those lovely birds are ? where are the one who were planning to uproot me? I really pity you. Those good days are now, just memories. Once, you look at me. I am not changed. Am I? I had no nice experiences to recall, nothing to feel nostalgic . But I am ‘stable’ and ‘self supporting’ for myself. But I didn’t mean insulting you dear friend. Let those golden days revert , let your happiness revive. But….. don’t ever be lured by the flowery words of people. What can I comment on men who never tried to read my ‘self’, and focused only on thorns? But to tell you the truth, we can survive at any body’s departure, provided, if we are firm with in ourselves! That too… with stability!”

Scene was consoling... Wall turned blank. That girl went out with out looking at me, even . but I did not feel bad. I was trying to be ‘stable’ with in myself, after all…
